Welcome again to Bioflex News and what an amazing start to 2012 for us here at Bioflex! January was one of the busiest months on record both in terms of growth for the brand (and we thank you for this) as well as securing some fantastic opportunities and having a lot of fun along the way.
Some of the noteworthy achievements this month include being proud to announce that we are the naming rights and major sponsor for the upcoming 2012 IFBB Australasia Championships and Arnold Qualifier in Sydney, will be bringing to you the under 105kg FitX Strongman Championships at the FitX exhibition in Melbourne in March, had some amazing performances from our sponsored BMX Team DK Bicycles Australia and launched a fantastic Facebook competition where our biggest fan will win a years supply of protein!

Another busy month is behind us and what an awesome month it was for Bioflex Nutriton. We launched our fantastic new website, business is expanding with more and more retailers jumping onboard the Bioflex network of resellers and we had some fantastic performances from our athletes, most of whom competed during October. Special mention to the members of Team DK who picked up some very impressive wins and placings in some of the toughest BMX Race competitions nationwide, our Ms. Australia Women's Bodybuilding Champion Christine Zadel, Terri Freeman Ms. Australia Figure Champion, Phill Pace who placed second in the U/100kg class at the Mr. Australia IFBB championships, Michelle Kittel who placed second in the Over 40's S.A. INBA Titles and Amanda Francisty who was crowned Ms. Universe INBA Tall Class Figure! These were just some of the fantastic performances...
Now with the month of November ahead there are some more exciting times in the world of Bioflex. We are looking into the development of some new products soon to hit the shelves, will be supporting some fantastic events and as always keeping everyone up to date on all the latest and greatest in our world through our website and Facebook pages so be sure to keep checking back!
DK factory rider and Bioflex Nutrition sponsored athlete Ronnie Dugdell has put the last 18 months of injuries behind him to claim the #1 spot in the heavily contested Elite Men’s field at the Queensland State titles held over the weekend in sunny Bundaberg, after having numerous operations on his elbow and also a broken collar bone Ronnie has been putting in big efforts to be back at the top of his game.
With Ronnie looking relaxed in the pits pumping tunes thru his Skullcandy UPROCK headphones and sipping back on Bioflex Recovery X it was time to get the main show on the road.
When the gate dropped it was a two horse race between Ronnie Dugdell and Joel Clark, with Joel having the inside line coming into the corner he come out first and held Ronnie high on the berm , and with that Darryn Goodwin slotted into 3rd, Ronnie made a dive into turn 2 but Joel still had the advantage heading down the 3rd straight, this is where Ronnie made his move carrying a lot of speed thru turn 3 and running Joel down in what would have been the closest finishes in some time. When the dust had settled it was Ronnie who had won by a fraction of a second to claim the number 1 spot.
In other news from the state titles DK rider and fellow Bioflex Nutrition athletes Cherie Simpson finished 3rd in Elite Woman, Mitch Hoad (12 boys) and Team Manager Corey Stafford (30+elite masters) both made finals but had big crashes finishing at the back of the pack.

The DK BMX Factory Team has announced Australian athletic supplement company Bioflex as its official provider of nutritional supplements and co-sponsor for the 2011/2012 BMX season.
Bioflex joins LooseKid Industries and Goodlife Healthclubs as co-sponsors of the DK team which includes riders such as former world number one Ronnie Dugdell, former Australian Junior Champion Matt Dunsworth and super fast young gun Blake Moore.
DK Factory Team Manager Corey Stafford said having Bioflex on board to offer expert advice on nutrition and supplements was a terrific addition to the team.
"Currently, the level of competition in Australian BMX is very high and being able to give our riders some extra tools in their preparation and recovery will be of great benefit at race time," he said. "In a sport where a last minute burst of speed can mean the difference between winning and losing, it's good to know riders in the DK Factory Team will have something left in the tank."
Bioflex Marketing Manager Aaron Ng said co-sponsoring the DK Factory Team was an ideal match for the company.
"Bioflex had been looking to break into action sports for some time and the DK Factory Team has a long record of success on and off the BMX track," he said.
"The team has several top ranked riders and our goal is to help them stay at that elite level."
Bioflex will provide its Biobulker protein and Biocharge endurance supplements and Recover X amino acid recovery formula to DK Factory Team riders.
Stafford said more and more BMX riders were incorporating supplements into their training and recovery programs.
"Traditionally you think of bodybuilders and power lifters being the main sports for nutrition supplements but using them for action sports like BMX is a great way to increase performance," he said.
